When it comes to Brisbane tree lopping and tree removal, we understand you may have questions.
What areas do you service?
Brisbane Treeworx provides tree services to the Brisbane region and surrounding areas. We service from Logan to Caboolture and everywhere in between. Check if your suburb is on our service areas list. If you are outside this area, please contact us or simply complete our contact form.
Why is regular tree pruning important?
Just like getting a hair trim, tree trimming promotes healthy growth and enhances the overall appearance of the tree. Regular pruning or tree lopping removes any dead, broken or diseased branches which can be dangerous and cause distress for the tree.
Do you remove tree stumps?
Yes. Stumps can be hazardous and a breeding ground for termites. Removing tree stumps, known as stump grinding involves grinding back visible and unsightly tree stumps to below ground level. This will allow you to lay turf over the top or plant a garden. We are proud to recommend Just Stump Grinding for all your stump grinding needs. Brisbane Treeworx are happy to organise this on your behalf or you can contact them directly.
Do you offer lawn mowing and/or garden maintenance?
We can help with general garden clean up and rubbish removal. However, we proudly recommend Speeds Lawn & Garden maintenance for all your garden needs. Give Scott a call on 0422 416 363 or email speed@smartchat.net.au
Do I need council permission to remove my tree?
Depending on your suburb and the type of tree, yes you may need to seek permission from your local council. It is not advisable to assume you can remove or lop the tree, always call your council or check their website first. If you are unsure, contact Brisbane Treeworx.
Can I prune my neighbors tree if it’s overhanging into my yard?
Some common issues from a tree in a neighbours yard include:
– Branches hanging over your fence line
– Dead branches and debris dropping into your hard
– Large branches overhanging or touching your roof
– Branches blocking sunlight to roof top solar panels
We recommend you contact your neighbour first to discuss the tree. Refer to QLD Government’s step by step guide to resolving tree matters. If you are unable to resolve the matter with your neighbour, you can exercise the common law of abatement – your right to remove overhanging branches from your boundary line.
Brisbane Treeworx are highly experienced in this area and can assist with the process of tree lopping a neighbours tree. We are happy to contact your neighbour(s) on your behalf to discuss the work or arrange access (if required).
Are you insured?
Yes, Brisbane Treeworx is fully insured. This includes up to $10 million dollars public liability and professional indemnity. In the unlikely event that your property is damaged, you can be assured it will be repaired by us at no cost to you.
What payment methods do you accept?
We always carry an eftpos machine for debit and credit card payments. We also accept cash, cheque and bank transfer.
How much will it cost to remove a tree?
Cost depends on the size, location, access and number of trees. It is very difficult to give an approximate price without visiting your property and having a look at the tree. This is why we offer a free, no obligation quote and advice to all customers.
Do I need to be at home when you complete the work?
No, as long as we have clear access to the tree(s) to complete the work, you do not need to be there.
Do you offer pensioner discounts?
Yes, all pensioners receive 10% off.
Can I keep the mulch?
Yes, please let us know prior to the job if you would like to keep the mulch and where you would like it.
